I believe the most beautiful memories happen when you're simply living them. Forget stiff poses and forced smiles; we'll chase the light and capture the authentic, messy, in-between seconds of your real life.

Exciting progress is happening at Brookville Trail Hub!
We are pleased to share that the DCNR application for 50% funding has been approved for a feasibility study.
Since our formation in 2022, we have worked to organize and raise money to close the ten-mile gap that divides the Redbank Valley Trail (and points south) from Five Bridges Trail (and points north). Currently we have 36 miles of trails to the north and 94 miles to the south, but they are disconnected and not perceived by cyclists as a comprehensive unit. This region’s potential for a safe, non-motorized 130 mile rail trail corridor brings a bright outlook for economic and recreational growth not seen since the construction of I-80.
In the past four years we have transformed Five Bridges Trail from an overgrown abandoned rail-bed into a ride-able bike trail with reconstructed bridges and trail surface. Our promotions have advanced it from a perceived private path to a visible rail trail visited by local, regional and out-of state bikers, bird watchers and hikers. There is still room for improvement, which will continue as funds and volunteer efforts are available.
Trail before improvement
Trail after improvement
Our new quest will guide us to solidify our gap-closure plans, solicit and hire an engineer, working with the firm to determine the best route with alternatives and the costs to build them.
In the past crossing I-80 was an impractical obstacle but we have determined a solution. There is nothing to hold us back with dedicated volunteers and know-how.
A few board members can’t accomplish the goal; we need you, as volunteers, administrators, public relations, government and businesses to complete the vision. Over the next few weeks we will be seeking volunteers to help. Watch for public meetings, posts on our Facebook site Brookville Trail Hub and media articles. Message, email or call to express your willingness to join us and become a part of this quest.
