Volunteer Opportunities

WITH THE BROOKVILLE TRAIL HUB

“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” — William Shakespeare

What a great opportunity!

Do you love the outdoors? Would you like to be a founding member of a great community
service organization? How about an opportunity to pay it forward to the residents and
businesses in and around Brookville, Brockway, and Jefferson County Pennsylvania? What about building your resume to help land that dream job? Maybe you’re looking to get a little more exercise. Or would you just like to make new friends and have a great time?

If any of these apply to you, the Brookville Trail Hub would love to have you as a board member and/or volunteer.

Our goal is to connect the rail trails north of Brockway with the trails south of Brookville. We will promote the establishment, maintenance, and management of the right-of-way of the old Pittsburg & Shawmut Railroad to a rail trail for recreation and fitness use. The Association shall promote the preservation and protection of the natural resources found along the right-of-way and recognition of sites of historic significance and shall be authorized to conduct all activities beneficial to this mission.
